I got my permit at 16, but...

uuummm... I just wanna say I already got my permit at the age of 16, and I'm not sure about this like... do I have to pay to get my driver's license??? Like..how much will I have to pay to get my driver's license??? like..I live in newark, NJ and not...

Yes, you do have to pay a fee to get your drivers license, I'm pretty sure it's going to vary from state to state so that's something you would have to call your local DMV and find out. In LA, it's around 30 dollars to get your licence.

You're going to have to take a driving test before you get your license lol.

Your Temporary permit and drivers license is totally different

You hold your temps with your ID card for 6 months, then you go to the DMV, schedule a test day, then you go there, take your test with the instructor, then if you pass, you are allowed to go to the DMV and get your license while you have your parent/guardian with you. It's $24.50 in ohio, I'm sure if you got online and checked the NJ DMV they'd tell you.
