Would this be an awkward age gap?

ok so I was climbing today and I was with these high school clubs and there was this girl she was very cute and we were talking and climbing for a few hours together and I realy like her the only problem is shes 15 and in high school a few towns over and...

in in middel school and im 13 I hang out mostly with people in HS shes best friends with my good friend mats girl friend so I was thinking that the next time im climbing with them talking to my friends girlfriend to kinda find some stuff out about her and have her find out if she likes me or not altho I think she kinda likes me

but I need some help on the best was to get to know her beter and ask her outto somthing other than climbing

and would that be kinda an auquwerd age gap for her

its not an award age gap at all if you really like her get to know her my parents had a 10 year gap but they were both over 18 so I dont see anything wrong with it go for it as they say reach for the stars

ya but shes in HS and im in middel school and around here people dont realy find it aceptabul but we both hang out with the same age group so what the hell I will go for it

It may not seem like a big deal now.. but what about down the line? You're two years younger than her. I'm assuming you're not going to be with her for your entire journey through highschool... but what will you do when she graduates and you're left behind for another couple of years? A college girl isn't going to be bragging to her friends about her boyfriend who is still a sophomore or junior in highschool. It just doesn't work that way. Other girls will come in and out of your life... so just remain close friends with this girl, and find someone your age. Or if you like older girls right now.. wait until you're 15 or whatever, and find someone your age. I doubt that she has feelings for you, she probably just likes hanging out with you as a friend. I don't think it's WRONG to have a boyfriend or girlfriend that's only a couple years older than you... but at your age, two years is a huuuge gap. If you were say, 23 and your girlfriend was 25 then that wouldn't be a big deal at all, because you've already gone through most of the same stuff.
