I don't think she'll be super mad or anything. She is just looking out for you and it was mainly a parental suggestion. She was hoping you'd save in case of an emergency or to add other money to it and be able to buy something even better than you did. But in general, birthday money is given to be spent and to have fun with. Show her what you bought, I don't think she'll be as mad as you think she will be. Happy Birthday.

I got $300 for my bday recently
Okay, so I just had my bday party on Sat. And I got $300, I turned 18 btw. And my mom said I should save some of it. Well yesterday I spent $80, today I spent $100! I'm taking one of the things I bought today back ($20), so that would leave me with $60,...
and I lent my mom money for bingo ($40) but I have this nagging feeling she will be mad at me for spending almost all of my money...I paid for her way into bingo...so she shouldn't...I'm 18 it's my money and she shouldn't get upset right?
Besides, it's not like I'm going to shop everyday...because I'm not. I never get to go shopping for real...like a lot of clothes to buy...so I felt like treating myself.
Do you think she'll get upset, and if she does, does she have a right to?
