I dont want a boy to come between our friendship

kay im so confused, and so tired of trying to be the best friend that I can be to one of my BEST friends *megan. Here’s the story; she started liking this one guy, (lets call him *mitch) and he kinda liked her back... so she leads him on, going to his...

house for lunch (alone), and going to any of his parties. but then she finds out that some other guy likes her *nolan, and she starts to like him back. so I thought that all of this was totally fine, its okay to like two guys at once right?? the only thing is that I was starting to like mitch as well, but didnt want to say any thing, because I was scarred that if Megan found out, she might choose nolan over mitch, just for me. I didnt want her lesion to have anything to do with me, but she found out that I liked him, after him and I stared to talk more and more. Mitch has no idea that I like him, and we will talk about megan some times. and I dont want it to seem like he is the only guy that she likes, so I told him that she sorta liked nolan too, mitch likes megan so much, but she likes nolan now a lot more then him.. so when she found out that I kinda like mitch as well I asked her if she would be mad if anything happened even though he is sorta her back up guy. she told me that she would be upset if I even told him that I liked him... im so confused, because she is trying to make plans with nolan a lot (but its hard because there both so busy) I asked megan if she wanted to go to music fest with me tomorrow, and shes like yeah we should invite mitch too! so I was like okay, hes been trying to get enough courage to ask her to hang out anyways.. so I hand her the phone and shes like actually, nahh... lets invite nolan. she knows that I want to hang out with mitch, but it seems like she doesnt even care.. she just wants me to tag along as her third wheel (oh btw I haven’t even talked to nolan since grade 5, so this would be so awkward for me) why is she doing this, why cant she just date nolan and let me have mitch?
I told her that I only like him a little bit, but I actually think that if me and mitch hung out more, that I could start to like him A LOT ... I also told her that I wouldn’t care if she picked mitch over nolan. (wich is TOTALLY the truth. but if she chooses him, im going to be so pissed if its just so that I couldn’t have him, instead of her actually liking him mooore) this is the first guy that I have liked since I broke up with my ex. I really thought that *Brandon was the one for me, I really honestly thought that we would last so much longer then we did ... I would be happy for megan if she dated mitch, but id be so much happier if she just went with the guy that she liked the most “Nolan” and left mitch for me
I don’t think that I should do any thing about this, I just needed to vent because im so disappointed that she wouldn’t let me have this one guy. She liked him first, so its sorta in the rules that she gets him, but what if she keeps on playing both of them, and doesn’t choose, then what do I do??

Well I believe that you should tell your friend how you feel about what she is doing. If she is only doing this thing so you can't have him she isn't a very good friend. I don't think that you should have to follow these rules if you like someone. I think if in your heart you truly do like this boy then you should tell her that if she continues to act like she is toward him then maybe she doesn't like him as much as the other boy and tell her you don't think it is fair that she is using this boy the way she is. if you do like this boy tell her and if she truly is your friend then she shouldn't care if you like him too and she also likes another guy. She is using mitch as a rebound boy which is wrong. Go for him!!! Hope I could help let me know how it goes!!!
