Wearing two condoms increases friction, making them more likely to break.

Do not use 2 condoms it won't work. Birth control pills and shot are much more effective, according to the statistics.

if you use to condoms they will both slide off.the pill and the shot do work really well I am on the shot. but if your going to have sex and you really dont want to get pregnant just use one condom. But if any semen gets inside u, like lets say the condom broke or sumthing like that..go to the health department and get the day after pill! It kills all the sperm before it can go into effect!

Your boyfriend will not enjoy sex if hes wearing TWO condoms.

IF you don't want to get pregnant you can even go get an IUD they have one called the MArina I think that's how it's spelled anyway it will prevent pregnancy for up to 5 years it kills the sperm right away you can't get pregnant with it even without condoms but I wouldn't recommend that unless you were married ( not using condoms) so use condoms and birth control (COPY AND PAST THIS ADDRESS AND YOU CAN READ UP ON AN IUD) JUST TO LET YOU KNOW IT USUALLY COST ABOUT $400 TO GET WITHOUT INSURANCE!!! SO IF I WERE YOU JUST ABSTANE FROM HAVING SEX TRUST ME IT IS WELL WORTH IT MY HUSBAND WAITED FOR ME IT'S SOMETHING SPECIAL AND THAT SHOULD NOT JUST BE THE NORMAL THING TO DO UNFORTUALNALTY THAT'S HOW IT IS NOT JUST WAIT MORE THAN LIKELY YOUR NOT GOING TO BE WITH THIS GUY FOREVER SO WHY GIVE HIM SOMETHING SO SPECIAL? I WAS UNFORTUANATLY RAPED AND HAD MY VIRGINITY TAKEN FROM ME I WISH I WAS A VIRGIN WHEN I MET MY HUSBAND THINK ABOUT IT IF YOUR NOT GOING TO MARRY THIS GUY AND YOU HAVE SEX WITH HIM YOU JUST HAVING SEX WITH SOMEONE ELSES FUTURE HUSBAND SAVE YOURSELF FOR YOUR HUSBAND! BUT IF NOT LOOK INTO bIRTHCONTROL

No two condoms will most likely break...

Condoms are almost 100% effective against pregnancy... combine that with spermacide and your odds are pretty good...

Also you might want to get on the pill (but still use a condom! the pill does not prevent against stds...!)

Doubling up on condoms increases friction just like underwaterophelia said, and will likely cause a break.

Condoms are NOT almost 100% effective. They are only about 80% effective against pregnancy(and STIs) which is alarming if you consider that you would have a 20% chance of getting pregnant or get such a serious STI as HIV!

Pairing spermicide with condoms doesn't necessarily up your odds. You have 26% chance of pregnancy with spermicide, so while it's better odds than if you aren't using a spermicide with a condom... it's still only about 74% effective at preventing a pregnancy. (sorry... just some simple math.)

The pill is about 99.7% effective with perfect use... 97% effective with typical use(not taking it exactly the same time every day etc.)

The IUD is the best contraceptive to prevent pregnancy available.(99.9% effective) You can't mess it up really(except antibiotics with the hormonal options) Expensive yes... but more cost effective in the long run. (a pack of pills runs about $25 each... calculate that over a period of 5 years and that's $1,500 compared to IUD $400.)

Please talk to your health care provider or gynecologist about your contraception options.
