The only way this will be the biggest mistake of your life is if you don#039;t learn anything from it. It looks like you have learned a big lesson. That it not only hurts the other person, when you do something like cheat on them. It hurts you just as much.
You say you don#039;t think you#039;ll ever get over him or what you did to him. But you have to do so to complete the lesson. Staying stuck there won#039;t do you or him any good. You need to take the lesson you learned and go on. It may not be easy, but it can be a decision you make.
And if he has forgiven you, then isn#039;t it arrogant of you not to forgive yourself? Later, after you have allowed yourself to heal perhaps you can explore the reasons why you would do this. Exam it in a way, not to beat yourself with your wrong-doing, but in a way that will help you understand yourself.
You can#039;t take it back, so pick yourself up, and go on.

the only thing i can say, me being very religious, is that if he is the guy ur spose to be with then you will be with him, but you cant wait to find out and stay stuck on him because he may not be the guy for you. the sad thing is is that you wont know if he is until you either find someone else and he comes around and realizes ur the one. but move on for now and then maybe ull be together in the end. now you know for next time that you shouldnt gamble with things like love, sont risk losing it for some pleasure with someone else....

i made the biggest mistake of my life. I had the perfect boyfriend for 5months then one night i made a big mistake and cheated on him. I dont know why i cheated and it wasnt that i got caught up in the moment cause i kinda planned it when my boyfriend...
went out of town that weekend. My boyfriend was always their for me i couldnt ask for anyone better and after i cheated on him i told him i did and he broke up with me. That has been over 2months ago and we still talk on occasion and he seems to be over it but i just cant move on. I cry every time i think about him cause i love him so much and i think how mean it was of me to hurt someone that nice. I dont think ill ever get over him or what i done to him. he says i he has forgave me and i need to forgive myself but i just cant go on knowing that i hurt the person i love more than anything in the world. Anyone think they can help?
