I cant figure out if he likes me

there is this guy at my school and he is always telling his friends in the hall that I am his g/f right in front of me and I go along with it because I really do want to be his g/f. I just cant figure out if he is joking or lying. help me

maybe try writting him a note or having your guy friend ask him for you...he can be like...'So you keep saying that your her b/f, and some times I think your really serious. are you?'
