I can't french kiss with braces!!:(

My front teeth have stuck out since I had a bike accident when I was 7 but I learned how to French kiss with them without the guy noticing or feeling them.
(I used to have to tilt my head at an angle to the side lol)

But then I got braces back at the...

start of October (almost 8 months ago!) just when I started going out with my boyfriend.
I wasn't used to kissing,especially french kissing with them and he was obviously the first guy I kissed wearing them.
He never pressured me to kiss him using tongue and was very understanding of my self consciousness with them in regards to kissing.
I'm very used to them now and am very good at kissing without much tongue and he doesn't feel my braces!!

The thing is I REALLY want to kiss him using tongue like I used to be able before I got braces.
At the start I kissed him using tongue and it was kinda spitty.
But as my teeth have moved in and they're now straight and in line underneath the braces and don't collide with the other persons teeth, I just don't know how to french kiss my boyfriend!!
It's so weird because I thought that it would be easier to do it when I got straight teeth but I can't even get my tongue to stretch out much more than just to reach the top of my top lip (it's like the muscles have retreated!) and it hurts and aches my tongue muscles to try and put it out even longer!

I feel like I've never french kissed in my life and that I have to start all over again!!
I've explained this to my boyfriend and he empathizes but when we're kissing normally he still pokes a little of his tongue in after a while and I do the same but I want to be able to use more than just the tip of my tongue!!

Btw my boyfriend has never had braces and has really straight teeth!

if you REALLY want to french kiss him, put some wax over all the rough spots of your baces,(your orthidontist should have given you some) try not to make it TOO noticable. have fun-taylorlee
