I broke up with my b/f and I want him back

I broke up with my boyfriend a few days ago because he has some problems and gave me all this drama and I couldn�t take it no more and I realized that I made a big mistake and now I want him back. But he called me today and I told him that I wanted him back and he said he didn�t know because his last g/f broke up with him and wanted him back and he took her back and she blew him off. I told him that I wouldn�t ever blow him off and that I still loved him and that im not like her and he still said he wasn�t sure it was a good idea and I�m running out of ideas I mean I want him back but I want to give him time to think about it but I still need a plan to get him back.
