You are 12/13 and some parents will arguably say you are too young, others would be more carefree. If your mum is the kind that would be against it. Just talk to her saying oh mum I bought a thong in town today. Its really nice, what do you think?

If she says you are too young or its too sexy or something along the lines of these. Explain to her that you wear many different tops - polos, low cut, boob tubes, halter necks etc so what is the difference between briefs, hotpants and thongs!?

Tell her that you are not thinking of sex (if the subject comes up) and that only you are going to see them. You want to know how they feel wedged up your bum. Some girls don't like it, others love them.

I started wearing them when I was 11 and ever since I have not got into a pair of briefs because I find them so snug! But I do wear the occasional hotpant if I feel lazy.

There should be no reason whatsoever for you to hide them from your mum. They are so commonly worn nowadays it isn't sexy anymore therefore it is just another article of clothing.

I dont know why parents freak out about that. it's not like your showing it to anyone so they need to calm yourselves. uh just start doing your own laundry. and if a little while tell her.
