I am taking my chihhuahua to the vet
I have adopted a chihuahua from a man I found that refused to take care of it. The first day I got the dog I took it to the petstore and got her nails clipped and grinded and brought some k9advantix because she had fleas. It has been a week and I am...
taking her to the vet...I want to make sure everything is ok and am afraid if I don't tell the vet to check for specifics he may only check the basics amd I want her to be in perfect condition since she suffered so much. What should I ask him to check for? Next thing is since her nails were so long she can barely walk I noticed her tail was yellow staiined and came to a conclusion that she must have been sitting in her own feces and urine. I tried bathing and was giving a suggestion of baking soda mix and a little peroxide and rub it in it didn't work, what should I do? Some specifics: female, grainless food diet, 1 yr old, never bred, very shy, had her for 1 week and 1 day.
