Is it normal to bleed for days after losing my virginity?

I just lost my virginity to my two year boyfriend and at first it bled a lot, it stained my blanket and when I stood up afterwards it was dripping. I knew I was supposed to bleed but I heard that I will probably spot but two days later I'm still spotting. It was very heavy at first and I have to use light pads now. It's not much blood but when I go to pee and I wipe myself there is blood on the tissues. I'm not sure if this is normal or maybe I'm just making a big deal out of it?
