Can i be pregnant with two negative tests?

Asked by simran_singh over 2 years ago, 1 answer.

I am 19 years old. It's been a week since my due date that I have not recieved my period .I am sexually active and I am afraid that I may be pregnant. But on the other way round I did my home pregnancy test twice and both times it came out to be...

negative.
Can you please help me by giving some suggestions?
thank you

Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate. The best you can do is to go to the doctors and get a blood test done to see if you're pregnant. You can also go to a free clinic, which does those tests for free. If you're not pregnant then there can be other explanations as to why your period is late. Some reasons include: Stress, Dietary problems , eg anorexia, bulimia or simply poor diet, Too much exercise, Drugs - prescription and recreational, Break in routine, Thoughts and emotions, Sexual activity - especially when it is a new occurrence, Anxiety about pregnancy, Illness or physiological imbalance eg thyroid conditions. The best to do is go to the doctor first before you throw out the possiblitiy of being pregnant.
