Okay first of all your mother should not be putting you down like that. SHe may not realie that this is making you feel insecure so what you should do is talk to her. Your mother may mean that she thinks you should eat healthier or something like that. My mom and I both agreed not say things like that to eachother but to help eachother eat healthier and excersize more. Secondly, if there are rumors going around at school have your friends help you with the rumor situation-if one friend hears the rumor confront the person who was spreading it and talk to them about how that makes you feel. Third, If you are still worried about being fat, talk to your doctor about healthy weights for your age and if you are a bit on the heavier side, talk to your doctor about healthy weight loss. Last but not least, remember not to compare yourself to people in magazines and on tv because they are airbrushed. Always remember that if you're happy with who you are that will show on the inside and out and the rumors will most likely end.

If you're comfortable with yourself, you shouldn't feel the need to do anything. And if you're like one of my best friends who's not very fat, then find physical activities you enjoy and do those every day. Eating healthy is good, too, and you should be able to have snacks as long as it's limited and very few. Like...you could excercise first for like 40 minutes, and reward yourself with your favorite snack as long as that's all you have. Then eat healthy... bread, fruits, vegetables, grain, meat, etc. All that good stuff. :] Your happiness is all that matters, you shouldn't care if other people think you're fat. But if you think you are, then do what you feel needs to be done.
