Virginity is a spiritual attribute, not a physical one.

The presence or absence of the hymen in no way indicates a girl's virginal state.

Different cultures view virginity differently. In some, just being touched by the opposite sex in a sexual way crosses that virginity line. But in western culture the popular belief is that one must have intercourse to lose their virginity.

Your hymen is located at the entrance to your vagina, so yes, you can see it from the outside. Virginity line? That's a new one to me.
