Does it really hurt to lose your virginity?? Because I heard you break your hymen when you lose your virginity.

And mine is around 6 inches deep or so and I have felt it. I think it would be nearly impossible to break. It felt like a brick wall.

ok first off they are never 6 inches deep! I know why you might say this though because sometimes I feel mine and I think it goes deeper but thats just the vaginal walls really. My hymen is rather thick and doesnt seem to want to stretch so I am a lil scared for when I sleep with my boyfriend also. It will hurt if you try and force penetration and tear it. The best thing to do is work on stretching the tissue out so that a penis can fit into the opening with less pain and stretching . You can do this with your fingers/ or your boyfriend can help- by applying pressure to the egdes of the hymen when you have a finger or two inserted if you can manage that without too much discomfort. Some women do have thicker hymens that do not stretch or tear easily and you do have to work on it . if the problem perists and you later find that your boyfriend cant penetrate you you should visit a doctor/gyn to see if you will need the hymen surgically cut to allow for penetration
