Hydrocodone/uti

Asked by wendihawkins 3 months ago, 1 answer.

I have had recurring bladder infections/UTI and heard that Hydrocodone (Lortab) can cause these. Is that true?
Thank you.

I'm not sure about the hydrocodone, but I do know a few things about UTIs.

If you're sexually active, you must pee within 15 minutes of finishing intercourse to flush out bacteria that gets pushed into the urethra. Not doing this causes many UTIs.

Also, cranberry juice really helps improve your urinary tract and bladder health. Either drink a glass of cranberry (NOT cranberry cocktail, which is mostly just sugar water) juice a day, or, if you don't like cranberry juice, take a cranberry supplement, which are available over the counter at most drug stores.
