What to do about a hurt chihuahua leg?

internet site and read that others soak the leg with water and salt. I really don't know what to do and can't really afford the vet bill at this point in time. But I love her and don't want to risk anything; especially her leg! Day one I couldn't realy touch the leg, but day two she will let you touch and move it more. The paw looks pink instead of brown in one small spot; the leg is not swollen; and she doesn't cry but she licks it. Do you have an helpful advice? Even a cheap clinic in Milwaukee, Wisconsin? Please any word of advice?

Well, I would suggest calling vets and seeing if any have payment plans.

It sounds like something that doctor should definitely see, especially if she wouldn't let you touch it for an entire day.

Don't know how far it is from you, but many vets have similar policies. Try to work it out for the sake of the dog.

Try and get her to the vet because it sounds like its either broken or sprained and causing her a great deal of pain i know it wont be good for ur finacinal status but its what you need to do

If you can't afford a vet then you need to surrender the dog to someone who can.

I fixed my dogs leg by letting the leg rest on a pillow, put a little ice on it, taking to fingers and rubbing the leg upward to get swelling, out and putting a little wrap on its leg but not to tight. after I did these she was doing much better.
