lmao at filletofspam; but I like that quote. to me it says that the value of your life is represented by how much you give during it.

you can only support yourself financially by the money you earn. but when you are a giving person, people are drawn to you because they admire your selflessness.
And I suppose another famous quote ties in with that.
'We can buy shelter, and food with the money we earn, but it is the passion and the relationships in life that we thrive on and live for.'

It means that you can support yourself with money in the physical and material sense, but spiritually you support yourself by helping others..
