How to throw a football?

I want to impress the guy by throwing a football really good
but how

Not that I know how, but I can imagine it would be hard to verbally tell someone how to throw a football. The only thing I can really suggest is to search it on youtube or something so you can physically see someone throw it.

okay..I learned this in the 6th grade. okie. there are little white stitch things on top. we will use { < these to represent them..and ! < these for fingers. this ( ) will be the football. okay..now... ( ! { ! { ! { ) you will put a finger before each one until you run out of fingers or stitches. Firmly grip the ball with your palm ..your thumb should be under it. Bring your hand behind your shoulder, arm straight back and level ...elbow approx. level with your ear. Now, unbend your elbow and raise your fingers...aka..throw the ball. don't fling it..and don't hit yourself in the head. Doing this should make the ball soar in a smooth, impressive, spiral pattern.
