How to tell when my dog will have pups

I know my dog is pregnant and she is about due and I've heard that they have their pups soon after they start producing milk so I checked and she is and I was wondering if anyone knew how long after they start making milk that they have their pups? I was...

also wondering if dogs usually have their pups at night.

she should have the pups with in 1-2 days,they also start licking the hair off their ninnys right before they give birth and starte to pace a lot.

I noticed my Dixie started getting milk the 5th of this mo ...its now the 10th and no puppies yet...her due date is the 18th, so I am guessing anytime this week. Start taking her temp a couple times a day and if you notice her not eating(even her fav treats) it will be very soon...they tend to start nesting before hand too. Let me know if she has had them already...your question is already 10 days old...good luck! happy
