How to tell my crush that I like him? Should I text him, now?

Have a crush on this guy. But I’m the shy type,so I can’t tell him. How do I know if he likes me or not? I have a crush on this guy, Zack. It all started on Valentines day. He asked me to be his date and we went to catch a movie. We have went out for 2 times already. It was kinda late at night and he told me to flag a taxi home. And he gave me the taxi fare. He kiss, hugged and held my hands. Is he interested in me? And every night, he never fails to wish me good night and saying stuffs like sweetheart and my dear.

There’s this girl in my class,Mary likes him too. She told my best friend that she wanna grab Zack’s attention from me so that he won’t fall for me but instead her. I’m so worried bout this. But, from what he said to me looks like he find my friend, weird.

Mary told Zack that I’ve got a boyfriend which is actually my close guy friend. Zack came to me and asked about it. And he sent me this message: - ‘’ I don’t wanna be bothering you too much since there’s someone else who likes you. Cause its been causing unnecessary neither do I want to be seem as nuisance in your personal life. We can still go out, still friends I mean :) Have a good rest. Good night, sweet dreams! XOXO :) ‘’

Omg, does this seems to mean that he don’t wanna text me anymore? Go out on a date with me anymore? The guy who likes me have moved on and I’ve told Zack bout it. He said, ‘’good, I hope there will be no more misunderstanding ‘’

Should I text him NOW? Every day? But he always text me first. I’m afraid if I were to tell him I like him, I get rejected and I’m shy. But I want to tell him. I wonder if he likes me too. But I don’t know for sure. So my question is how do I know if he likes me and should I text him now is yes, what should I say? Cause I don’t wanna get rejected.
