How to tell if I'm addicted to caffeine?

here is my situation
I drink 3 cups a day, I get these small, sort of headaches but in spikes, If I dont have a cup, this comes on a couple of hours after the previous cofee, when I have the coffee, the pain goes after about 30 mins, I sometimes shake and have for a split second felt dizzy. what is happening to me? all I drink is cofee, I've only been doing this coffee thing for 5 days now, the last 2 nights I had have been hell, I've been up till like 3AM! advice please on my current situation, I posted this elsewhere and they say I need caffeine, but I thought Id check here first.
Whenever I feel like quitting like 2morrow Im going t, I feel anxcious and part of me says 'nah just a few more days'

You are describing caffine headaches, so maybe you should try cutting down on your daily amount of caffine so you aren't so dependant on it to get you through the day! There are other drinks that will give you a similar effect, such as, drinks with B vitamins (for energy) like Fuse Strawberry Guava, or maybe go find some vitamins for energy (drink lots of water when you take vitamins).

you are definately addicted and need to slowly decrease the caffeine intake to eventually none or sparingly. the head aches will stop after you stop drinking coffee, even awhile after. try to stay away from chocolate too for it also has caffeine

heeey..take the caffine out and drink water for a few days and see if the headaches stop..if it does, it was the coffee, if it doesnt, its sumthing else..

I DONT DRINK COFFEE BUT I ALWAYS HAVE A PEPSI ON HAND. I LOVE THE CAFFEINE AND THE SUGAR.
