How to talk to a boy?

So, im going out with this boy and hes really sweet and nice, but he never can seem to start conversation. He odesnt ask question, im the only one who does. We've only been going out for a few days but I want to know what would be a good convo to help us get to know eachother and get comfortable around eachother.?

go watch a movie that he would want to see and ask him how he liked it and why? that will probably get him to talk about the movie and eventually lead onto other convos. I know this is kind of selfish but try and talk about stuff he likes for a few days and ask him why he likes it. hope it helped

if you cant think of stuff to say and it starts to get awkward just be like gah im so happy im your girlfriend and like if you run out of compliments then be like wow I get so many butterflies when im around you that you leave me at a loss for words.
