How to talk about my bad past

How do I talk to my boyfriend about my past...I have dones things I'm not so proud of and I feel that I must tell him these things so he can better understand how I am as a person...he has taken my most embarrassing bad situations well...so I think even...

the less embarassing yet bad parts of my past he'll understand. He says he will, so I believe him...I just want to know how to start...Help?

The best thing is to tell him up front. There is no real good way to start this conversation, you just have to wait till you have the courage and just let it out. That is the hardest part. I dated a girl that had a bad past as well. A lot of smoking pot leading to sex with random people. The worst part about all of this is that I found out through my friend who she told all of this to before we started dating. Obviously I was pissed and ended up breaking up with her. However, that was not the only thing that led to our break up. She was very clingy, controlling and had a short fuse. It sounds like your boyfriend will be understanding.
