You can sync your iPod with different computers only if the computers are running the same operating system Mac OS X or Windows.
Like if you have a windows computer and you want to sync music to your iPod from a mac it won't work...
To sync ipod to different librarys just make set Itunes to Manually manage music. It's a box that you check when syncing your iPod.
