How to straddle or arouse?

hey I keep hearin these words like straddle and arouse-I hear straddle on like straddle I hear them on how to do women-on-top sex positions.it says like get on and straddle your man.also on like arouse it says stuff like let him arouse slowly or w/e....

can you please tell me what this means.?

Straddle: to stand, sit, or be astride of straddle a horse campsites straddling the river

As a sex position it means to have both your legs on either side of your partner.

Arouse is to rouse or stimulate to action or to physiological readiness for activity
(like sex, to turn someone on, make them horny etc.)
