it depends on what kind of tie-dye shirt you want to make! there are very many designs and different styles to choose from! the spiral, circles, strips, wave, so on and so forth.

what I do know, is that no matter what kind of shirt your doing, your going to need the desired die, (they have kits at walmart between 10 and 20 dollars depending on how much die you want), rubber bands, gloves, and obviously a white t-shirt.

another way to make cool design shirts, you can crumple up your shirt in a ball, but the rubber bands over it in the desired design (as long as it holds the shirt together), and go crazy with the die!

let the die sit between 6-8 hours or longer for more intense color.

wash in cold water,
and ENJOY!

but make sure you wash the shirt ALONE for the first couple of times.

and only add a little bit of soap to your shirt the first few times.
