I know how to make a heart and stuff like this ♥. But how do you make a star?? Not like this * but like an actual star and how do you make the little (tm) sign?? Thanks!!!

You may be able to find a good listing of Unicode characters online somewhere.
However, here, I shall paste a range of stars and similar characters for you:

If you cannot use HTML, then you could hold alt and press 9 7 3 3 on the number pad (right side of the keyboard), then let go of alt.
If wanted, here are the number codes for all of those symbols:

You may have to use WordPad to input those. A web browser might take alt plus keys on the number pad as commands to go back a page, forward, home, and so on.

In HTML you could also use such as #10032; but without a space between the and #.
