It would be nice to be able to customize the avatars if possible. Hair color etc or even maybe use cute animals.

How to make avatars?
The default icon we have for a user profile is a bit boring. How to make avatars? I think it's be neat to have an avatar creation tool, but I'm at a loss of where to start. Should we begin with users just being able to select a male / female version of the icon, and then expand from there?
