I actually googled this topic because I think I might be pregnant, but I think I'm pregnant probably every other month and I'm tired of using expensive pregnancy tests when it's only a false alarm. It would be awesome if there was some way to make one yourself at home... but I'm assuming there probably isn't a way, and if there was, we would have heard about it by now. If you don't want anyone to know you are taking a preggo test, I would suggest going to Target, buying one, and then using it in the bathroom there.

You can put bleach in the toilet and pee. If it turns pink you are possibly pregnant. Blue is negative.

The dollar tree has pregnancy tests and I've heard they are just as effective as the ones you buy for more $ at other stores

I am also looking for home made test cause I tried the bleach and couldn't tell. about the bleach test.. I actually did this with one of my friends.. her preg.. me not.. and it did work..it didn't turn pink or blue.. however just put a small amount of bleach in cup and pee in cup if it is foggy looking then it's positive and if not then it's negative. It was a long time ago when I did this.. Maybe this will help you.

No, the bleach test does not work. It won't change colors, ever. And no, your pee being blurry isn't a way to tell either. That's simply your body's way of getting rid of excess protein. If you do become pregnant, your body keeps the lining and feeds the baby, hence the missed period when you're pregnant) When the hormone levels change, it is a noticable difference. The pee on a stick tests work by having a chemical inside them that is MEANT to turn colors after detecting a rise in hormones. That is why they tell you to take the test so long after your missed period and as soon as you wake up in the morning, because those are the easiest times to detect this change. So go buy the $6 stick and give it a shot. If nothing else, tell your mom you want to go to McDonalds and you need 10 bucks.
