If you're 15, I hate to be brutally honest, but you are done growing, or VERY close. I'm 15 ,5,4 and a half and I've probably been this height over a year. And no, you can't target certain parts of your body, when you loose weight, you loose it all over. Even though you probably won't grow upward anymore, you still have developing to do and that's why going on diets when you're young isn't not good. Did you know yo-yo dieting increases your risk of heart attack by 5 times? If you have taken all that into consideration and still feel you need to diet, then be sensible about it and follow my tips.
* Before begginning any kind o9f food or fitness plan, consult a doctor who can determine if it's appropriate for you and help you set realistic goals.
* Do muscle-building excersises along with your aerobics. Muscle gives you a leaner look and burns calories like 10 times faster than fat.
* Don't go below 1,200 calories per day and make sure you're getting in as much nutrients as possible.
* Don't be discoraged if you don't see results right away, they'll come, don't worry.
* Never skip meals, which will end up back-firing right in your face. You'll loose weight at first, but once you start eating normally again, you'll pack on the pounds.
* Wear clothes that flatter your body to increase your confidence.
