How to know when your flirting is working?

What are some signs that a girl likes you when you're flirting with them? (both on AIM and real life)?

when she starts to be nice to you

There are many ways you can tell a girl is actually giving into your flirting.

theres always the smiling if shes smiling AT YOU and really looks interested in what your saying...shes definatly interested...unless ofcourse what your saying is actually worth listening too.

but anyways...sometimes when a boy flirts but you dont really feel the same way...it gets a bit annoying...so they will just laugh it off or change the subject. once that happens you know its time to cool it down.

on aim its rather hard to know, but I know one thing if girls are really interested they will answer back a bit quick. if not then you will be getting answers on there 20 minutes later.

as for them being nice to you...thats a bit true. but people flirt differntly sometimes picking on you can be a type of a flirt. you never know. maybe the girl is naturally nice, so dont always assume that just because she is being nice...she likes you.

Well when you're actually talking to her, she'l probably smile, and flirt back, and on AIM they'll probably just comment back to what you said, more than likely it's working though.
