ok.. yea I dont think you can actually do anything to grow more. well when he has a growth spurt then of course he will get taller but I dont think there is actually something you can do to grow. tell him to see his doctor and his doctor should have a growth chart on him and the doc should be able to tell him how tall he is going to grow.
If he is in his late teens, he is pretty much done growing. The only surgical procedures are drastic, and NO doctor with any scruples will do them on anyone of moderate height.
Instead, he should work on being the best he can be professionally and personally. Go as far as he can in school. Get a good job. Make himself an attractive catch. It's a sad fact, but most young males from 17-23 are not considered good date material unless they look like they are on track to becoming successful.

There isn't much you can do to grow once you've passed your teens. However, there are ways to appear taller. For instance, having perfect posture can add several inches to your height. Also, wearing the correct fit of pants can be elongating as well.
just drink more milk to encouage his body to grow to its full potential... in the long run he wont be any taller but he might get to his max hight sooner

tell him not to worry because hypothetically males don't stop growing until they're 25 (girls it's earlier, about 22, because we start puberty earlier). so he'll still be growing! so jealous. lol.
but like the others have said, good posture helps you look taller. as well enough sleep helps your hormones regulate. in addition, if he's brave enough, do yoga and pilates! they stretch your muscles and stuff.
