How to have a best friend?

You can't force someone to be your best friend. A best friend is simple that - a friend you best get along with. I never had a best friend until I suddenly met a girl who I worked with a couple of years ago. I noticed we had a lot in common, so I made a point of hanging out with her more and we learned a lot about each other. We are still best friends now. Do you want a best friend just for the sake of having one, so you can say that yea you have a best friend? Cause it won't work that way. You have to genuinely be a good friend of the person and make an effort to spend time with each other.

There isn't a special way to get a best friend. You just be a good friend to them, and stick with them. I didn't really think about it all that much, didn't worry about having a best friend because our little group of friends were all really close so it didn't matter. But when we went to highschool we got split up in different school's and only 3 of us are at the one that I go to. And one day I realized, Hey, these people would do anything for me, and I would for them. They're my best friends.
