How to stop a fear of heights?

How do you think are ways to get rid of the fear of heights?

I just lost my fear of heights due to the fact that as soon as I saw your picture I fell in love with you, this also answers how ya know when some one loves you,,lol

From your previous question about your appearance it is clear you may be suffering more from self-esteem. This may have manifested into a fear of things...what other things are you afraid of? Sometimes fear is from a previous experience; falling, being stung etc. Sometimes we find no reason for the fear and then we look at self-esteem and not trusting yourself. You tell yourself that nothing is going to happen if you climb up high but you don't trust yourself. Just as you say to yourself I am pretty but you don't trust your own voice. Counselling is a great place to start figuring out what the real problems may be.

face your fears. i got over my fear of heights by going on rollercoasters and trying to climb trees. before then i wouldn't even let someone try to pick me when they were playing around because i was always scared that they were going to drop me.

I had to face my fears a few years back and the reason I had to was because I was going on a Mountain Climbing trip in Virginia with my best friend. I knew about my fears however I was going to conquer it. I ended up going to an amusement park and there was bungie jumping. I got the courage to face my fear and 289 feet later I'm here..LOL and my experience with mountain climbing was amazing and have gone several times since then.
Face your fears in moderation if that's what you choose to do. Not everyone can take a 289 ft plunge..

I dont actually know if you can stop yuor fear of height... I am a rockclimber.. I climb all the time adn fall all the time anad im scared of heights I just dont let it stop me
