How to get rid of a sore throat?

My 6 year old brother been having a sore throat for about 3 days now? What would help him feel better??? =(

Antibiotics like throat sweets work just as well as anything. and drinking lots of fluids. it's the only way to get rid of any infections. It is annoying but it will go away in a couple of days

Throat sweets with anitbiotics help to get rid of it. You can't immediately get rid of the infection but it will clear up in a couple of days.
Throat sweets called
Dequacaine work well I think although they don't taste too nice. if not then
Strepsils Which come in more flavors and taste better.
