sleep with your head slightly elevated,stay away from citrus fruits,chocolate and caffeine. drink lots of water.

Do you mean like without drugs?

Sprite or anything carbonated can help reduce the acid and so can mint.
If medicine is OK then try Rolaids and Tums.

you cant really completely rid your body of the illness but as you can see from above drink sprite and anything health for your stomach. I have the illness and I drink hot tea and that helps a plenty. also, I stay away from acid filled foods and that helps. I hope my advice informed you on your question.
