How to get my voice back?

Well I lost my voice and its been a couple of days now, I still talk but I sound weird and ivee been drinking tea everyday...does anyone know anything else I can do?

when I had tonsilitis ( if thts how you spel it ) the doctor told me 2 drink tea and chew gum because it clears away the infection x
