Ok at first there was this guy who was interested in me but i blew him off because i was still dealing wit my ex but now i realize that i like the guy but he seems as if he's still hurt from wat happened at the begining so i was wondering if anyone knew...

how i can tell him that i want to give us a try and what excatly i should do...thanks in advance !

Just be honest with him, true men like it when women are honest with them. Tell him that you were dealing with your ex problems and that it was a rough time for you, and that he caught you at the wrong time. Tell him that you are interested him and that you are sorry for cutting him off, and that you are interested in him. If your completly honest with him and he a true man he will let his ego down and try, but if you lie to him he will never trust you and never date you. I hope this helped.

Just tell him the truth, if he sees you are being honest then he will respect you for that. Tell him that you like him but felt it wasnt thr right time becos you had unresolved issues to deal with and didnt want him to be caught up in the middle of it.
