How to get a guy to be interested in me

I have this problem with this guy. this guy is my friend. we know each other from various academic teams. im a freshman and he is a junior. I really liked him and tried to see him every chance I had during the school day. I really wanted to go out with him, so I finally wrote him a note earlier this week and gave it to him telling him that I liked him. a few days later he told me had a girlfriend. I was 100% sure there was no girlfriend. we're still friends. I miss him and can't get over it. is there a way to get 2 people to break up? I don't even know who his girlfriend is. he is always walking with different girls.

Even if he really doesnt have a girlfriend, its his way of telling you hes not interested! If he does have a girlfriend, maybe she goes to a different school. Why would you want to break them up? Because your being selfish and only thinking of yourself? Doing something that could make him resent you. Then you'd never have a chance with him. You cant get someone to like you. If youre friends, leave it at that, cause you could cause more harm than good if you interfere in his life!

Its really not a good idea to break up your friend so you can get with him. I know how you feel hun this is a hard situation to be in. But in all honesty maybe your friend is protecting your friendship, because in many cases a relationship based on a long term friendship can turn ugly and you have to be careful. I would just continue on with your life continue to be friends but meet up with some other guys and maybe go on dates, and maybe your friend will come around... but remember if you break up it could turn your friendship in the wrong direction.

You need to back off and leave this dude alone. He is telling you he has a girlfriend, if he really does then you have no right to interfer esp when he has made it clear he is with someone and is not interested, you have no right trying to interfer and break them up.
If he doesnt have one and he is saying he does its his coward way of telling you he isnt interested in you, instead of telling you the truth, he lied to save himself the drama. So he isnt worth it anyway so just leave him alone and move on.

If he doeznt have a girlfriend go for it but if he does well some timez if you love some one you have to put their happiness before yours hope that helps =)
