How to eliminate skin discoloration?

Some parts of my skin are uneven. My face is darker than my torso's skin complexion. Like the back of my neck is very dark, darker than my face. How do I eliminate these skin discolorations and make my skin one color?

ugh!!! I have the same problem...espically with my arms and chest area .
im not sure weather this works or not but...how about getting a tan in the areas where your skin is lighter. This would make your skin darker I suppose...

I'm not sure how to eliminate the problem. I don't think tanning would get rid of the discoloration completely but it might help. It just means that you probably have more melanin in some parts of your body than the other. I have some slight discoloration on my arms but that is from having exzema and my skin being dry, but in the summer time when I get a tan it's not at noticable.
Has this always been a problem or has it just started happening? If you use a tanning lotion or go tanning it could be dead skin cells that need to be exfoliated. that might help.
