YYYAAAHHH! How do you eat a coconut? But first of all, how do you slice it?
So frustrated

U lightly hit it w/ a hammer. OUTSIDE OR IN A PLACE THAT you CAN EASILY WASH IT AWAY!!!

Get a thick squarehead screwdriver (I use a knife sharpening steel for this, but not everybody owns one of those), place it on one of the three eyes on the end of the coconut, and using a quick, firm blow, hit it with a hammer...it will crack and split open
