All you need to do is clean the thing with a soft sponge, when they say dont' use an abrasive one, they're serious. I've ruied a fair number of non stick pans over the years, none of them were calphalon (caphalon?) but more generic brands. I think all the coated ones go bad eventually, but using the right type of sponge might help it last longer. Good luck.

How to clean a Calphalon non stick skillet? I read in the directions that I should use a soft sponge, and soapy water, but nothing too abrasive. Do I really need to be that careful when cleaning my skillet?
