How to break this addiction from energy shots

So... I am currently in college, I have been having a hard time staying awake so I took this 5 hour energy drink. It worked great but the problem is that it worked so great I want it again and again...I'm becomming addicted and my friends are worried so...

is my family...
I get a lot more work done when I drink it...and just feel better I can stay up longer and I'm more alert

...I don't know what to do
Help?

yeah drink them every so often not everday cause its not good at all I use to drink monster energy drink everyday and it ate up my kidney they doctor said cause I was haven bad side pains and couldnt move

Find something else to replace it with...?

You need to wean your self off. Try drinking some mountain dew, and then cola, and then sprite, until you no longer need caffeine. I am also addicted to caffeine but thats the only way that has worked for me. You can stop the caffeine cold turkey but you will have the worst headache of your life (at least I did) You can easily get addicted again but staying away from caffeine isnt as hard as you think.

My dad had a heart attack from one of those things. Maybe that will tell you to stop. If you keep drinking them you may get sick. Try coffee or even just a soda. JUST TRY IT

to stop you must not find something to replace it because too much of any substance is harmful so I would do what baby girl said and wean yourself off of it and start a new lifestyle. but, I do not recommend replacing it though with cola or mountain due like baby girl because those drinks have enough acid to do serious damage to your stomach lining.
