well, stop smoking and u will find out the answer from your body. Did u know that a cigarette contains 4000++ chemical which are toxic to human health?

Think of your love ones and think of your future. Don't tell me you are willing to let your children suffer by passing some disease to them...

Pleas have a heart. stop hurting yourself by smoking and stop hurting others by emitting second hand smoke.

It's funny, you usually hear people asking the opposite of this question. I'm 5'5 myself and I weigh 140lbs and honestly? I couldn't care less. People who obsess over stupidness like that tend to be overly-superficial and have problems with low self-esteem. I would imagine your case is an exception though, because of your smoking habit. Let me start by saying that you really need to kick that habit, not only is it a major component in your unhealthy weight, but if you don't stop soon, it'll result in more severe problems down the road. Here's a list of some of the side-effects of smoking:
* Every cigarette you smoke takes 2 mins off your life, so you're taking 14 mins of your life everyday!
*WRINKLES- ewwwwwww
* Yellow teeth
* Dry skin
* Increased risk of lung cancer
* Causes shortness of breath
*Surgery to remove oral cancers caused by tobacco use can lead to serious changes in the face.
*Smokers run slower and can't run as far, affecting overall athletic performance.
* Causes hair, clothes and breath to stink
*Short-term use of spit tobacco can cause cracked lips, white spots, sores, and bleeding in the mouth.
*Smoking can wreck your lungs and reduce oxygen available for muscles used during sports.
* etc
So, clearly before you start working on the weight issue, you need to quit smoking. I can't give you much advice on that, as I've never been in that type of situation, but I will say this: Everytime you're craving a cigarette, picture yourself at 30 years old, 2 kids and a husband grieving, dying in the hospital of lung cancer. A lot of teens have these crazy ideas that they're bullet-proof and that things like that won't happen to them and I'm guessing that at one point, you thought that too, because you started smoking. The reality is, that bad things can happen to anybody, smokers or not and we all need to get our heads out of our asses and snap back to reality. Anyhow, I really do have to applaud the fact that you do want to quit and you do want to improve life, so that's always the first step. Congrats. About the weight issue, when you quit smoking, your appetite will come back and you'll probably gain a few pounds automatically. Don't load up on candy and junk-food and DON'T gain weight too fast. Your body won't be able to adjust to your rapidly changing form, which can result in streatch marks and other comlications. It's best to speak with your doctor about how many calories you should be consumind daily for weight maitenence, then add 500 to that. For example, say 2,000 calories will cause you to maintain your weight, add 500 to that, so you can gain weight at a healthy rate of about a pound a week. Don't rush and don't get discouraged if you don't see results right away. That's my advice, but remember, you can't do it alone, so you MUST do talk to your doctor who will give you a clearer perception of where you're at health-wise right now and perscribe a plan to gain weight and help you quit smoking. Send me fun-mail if there's anything else. Best of luck, peace!
P.S. Fat shouldn't be what you're going for, because clearly fat isn't in your genes. Your doctor will be able to give you an idea of what a healthy weight is for you. Don't use the BMI chart unless you're between 20-65, it isn't accurate for teens because it doesn't take into account muscle mass and build.

Greetings,
- You shouldn't be worried about your weight right now, I don't think I want to give advice to people that put smoking before weight.

Dont listen to these dumbasses. Everyones quick to tell you what NOT to do, but meanwhile, they have secrets that are way worse then smoking squares. I actually dont smoke cigaretts, but I do smoke my share of pot. I lift every morning and every night. just as much weight as you can lift, til you cant lift it anymore. then the next day do it a couple more times then the day before. Get on WHEY PROTEIN. Mix it with milk. You can even think about getting LEGAL ROIDS just to add mass. Its a work-in-progress and it takes time, but I've done it for the last month, and but on 5 lbs. I try and eat as much as possible and stick to a regimine. DONT LISTEN TO THOSE OTHER PEOPLE.
