How should I tell him?

Look I have heard that you are one of the best and so this story I am aboutto tell you of is going to prove if you really ARE the best in advising. I met this guy, Mohannad, this year just recently, and I came to find that he was the only boy in my class who treated me in a good way, Well, you can imagine how I felt about that. He was polite, nice, interesting and he and I had a lot in common. |Same feelings, same allergies, same sisters with same names, but he has just ocnfessed to me he loves me, and I couldn't believe it, in other words, I was in shock. Now he wants me to tell him if I can be his girlfriend but I just want us to be friends as I am not ready for a step like this just yet, I;m alittle young for that giantic leap and I need help, SERIOuSLY!!!!!

Well if you don't want a relationship with him, then don't. Its best not to rush into a relationship, or commit to one if your not sure. I have been in this situation before also. You should let him know that he may think he loves you, but most likely he just is an infatuation. Best thing to do is let him know exactly how you feel. But don't close the door between you both, always let him know that there is a chance between you two, just when your ready. If he really loves you, then he will wait for you, as long as it takes for you to decide.

well, this is ok but I just want to tell him that without having to hurt him or make it so painful 4 him. How can I tell him without breaking his heart. I"M DESPERATE!!!

Definitely talk with him however you feel most comfortable, through internet, phone, in person, etc. Express to him that you like spending time with him too and have really liked knowing more about how similar you two are. Tell him everything you have just said, that you like that you two are alike and like that he treats you so well. After showing him that he's not alone for feeling this way then tell him that you are not ready for a boyfriend.

The main thing to do is not dismiss him feelings. A main way people get hurt when expressing their feelings is if the person dismiss' their feelings by saying "you don't know what you're saying", or "you don't mean that", etc. Another reason why people get upset is if they feel that are wrong to feel that way. By telling him that you share the same feelings and that you feel the connection you both share as well he will feel that their is a reason for him feeling this way and he is not wrong. After doing all this then you will have told him your reason for not dating which is something in you and not in him.

Try to keep an understanding tone and give him as much time as he needs. After all he'll be upset not to have someone like you.

ya, but until now, this may seem like a stupid question, but how do I know if I lve him or just like him? how can I differentiate?
