How should i start a band?

I don't think I wanna have an all girl band, because I can't stand other girls for too long. But I really want a band. I love to sing, and if I could do it for money too thatd be great! I have a few names for bands I like. The thing is I have no one to...

be in it. I don't know any guys that like anything but emo screamo/ deathmetal stuff. I just want a rock band, sorta like paramore, avril lavigne, good charlotte, people like that. But how could I find out if anyone is interested. I don't just wanna call people, I wanna know who they are and why they want to be in a band. and how much they really love music. Any ideas? Should I wait for someone to organize their own band and then join, or make my own? by the way I can't play any instruments...lol xD

Maybe you could start a group on bebo or myspace or facebook and invite people you think might be interested?

I'm a girl and I'm in a band with 2 boys. if your still in school then look for musicians but if not then maybe hang around outside a music collage...^^
