How should i do my hair?

I want to look really cute on thanksgiving on thursday and I am supposed to spend it with my boyfriend and his family this year... I am going to wear a dark blue skirt and a pin striped really vute shirt that ties in the back and some flats... but my...

hair kinda goes past my shoulder about a inch in a half and I always wear it straight... but I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I should do my hair?? I was thinking of crimping it on just the top to give it more body because I have thin hair...
and how should I do my make up with the kind of outfit I am going to wear???
Oh and I have green eyes and brown hair... if that helps.

Well, since you always wear it straight, how about trying it wavy?
Since I don't use hair tools here is how I suggest you to do it.

The night before take a shower and while your hair is still damp braid it into lots of braids, and if you want really curly hair then do small tiny ones.

If you have styling gel I suggest you put on that before you braid.

Now, right before it is time to leave take out your braids, and run your hair through your fingers to make the waves look more natural. Don't brush your hair!

To finish, spritz on either some hairspray, leave-in conditioner, anti-frizz, or shine spray, which ever one you prefer and most importantly what fits better with your hair type. If your hair is naturally straight then I suggest hairspray to hold in the style, or if it's naturally curly then anti-frizz serum will tame down your locks.
