How old or young are you?

Is it just me, or are there a lot of youngsters on here? Is that why so many just don't get
the questions or do we have older unread even uneducated adults playing online? Is
there anybody who knows my meaning? When one asks a question that they have...

spent considerable time on, ridicule for an answer definitely suggests immaturity or
mean spirit on the part of those who don't see eye to eye. Shame really. God has
given us all the power to choose, we live in the land of freedom of speech, but
where is it written go out of your way to be rude?

30, so we are not all young. I take the questions very seriously. I am a psychology student and would like to someday make a career of giving advice. I also like the young crowd on here to know that they do have an unbiased adult they can go to for help without being embarrassed and worrying about their parents finding out.

A little like Irene's I am also a proud Atheist and I'm 17. I would say something like hers but a little differently,Christianity was thrown onto me and I didn't appreciate having to worship someone I knew from the start didn't exist,my mom still doesn't approve and keeps telling me a whole bunch of stories how I am going to Hell,I would go into detail but I don't want any mean feedback on my answer.

word religion as it really means to repeat an action over and over, whereas faith
speaks to relationship I have had a 30 year relationship since with a GOD that
sought me out. It was after I looked for a relationship with the author of the universe
that He/She manifested in my life. Tell your mom that hell was never meant to be
for humans and in truth does not even exist yet. Sheol the place of burning is
where all evil will be swallowed up and consumed. All of God's children will ultimately
find their way home. At 54, I remain nonjudgmental of others and pray that I may

You're questions wouldn't bother me if you didn't mention god so much. Your advice being rude or not has nothing to do with age, really.

Im 17 and like some of the others people Iam an Athiest your qusetions are really dumb all they talk about is God, God this and God that if you get rude answers thats because your shoving your beliefs down peoples throats. your just God God God God some of us don't beileve in God and don't like annoying questions like yours

your questions cover a subject matter that is not interesting to me, and seeing that there are people of all different beliefs here- if I do not answer something it is a form of RESPECT, I do not need to post the opposing view on EVERY religious question- I am a firm believer in the too each his own philosophy.
if my nose is not asked to be placed into something- I choose to stay out of it.
since your questions cover the bible, and you are asking other believers to comment- I do not belong on your post- I believe in neither the aspect of 'god or the credibility of the bible.
as far as my age, I am 40, not college educated- but self educated nevertheless.

now if someone ASKS for the opposing side to the equation, I generally will rise to that occasion- in a forthright manner that expresses my perspective, and I will hold my ground with intelligence and my life experience WITHOUT the insults and vulgarity that a few religious types choose to use on this site on occasion.

and yes I do view your questions as preaching
if you would like to have a meaningful discussion, there are plenty other topics that I (as well as the community at large) do know about - cooking, artwork, hunting, fishing, music etc. all subjects that do not require one to believe in a god.

GOD cooks,paints,sculpts,creates,destroys,hunts,definitely fishes,plays every kind
of note you could ever conceive of. Google the music of the stars. But whatever you
do, don't believe in Him.

there's a lot of youngsters on this site cus unfortunately some people dont have anywhere else to go and they have to rely on people they might of never even met for advise if they dont feel confident enough to ask friends/family
with young people there is always going to be at least a hint of immaturity so get used to it

We do not preach at you, we preach to you and those who would listen. You make it seem as though we are targeting you simply to annoy you. Is it really so offensive that people are willing to love you despite your harsh words?
Go and be fishers of men, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel. I don't know how you can possibly get any more clear.

How old or young are you was and is the question. I assure you my independent
thoughts are working well as usual. I made my comments in the appropriate
categories. Why are there so many nonbelievers picking on those who ask questions
in the Spirituality category? What is this, try to disillusion or discredit those who
have a blessed assurance and are speaking to those with open minds not blind
to the possibility for tolerance and possibilities?
